Using the Admins and Trainers entities in the GET /odata/v2/Courses request

The Course entity used in API has two properties—Admins and Trainers— that can be used in the $expand query option of a request. This article describes who are the users that correspond to these roles and how they will be displayed in the API response.

So, who are considered Admins and Trainers?

Admins refers to all users who are assigned as course administrators via the LMS365 Admin Center > People > Administrators during course creation or editing.

Trainers refers to users only who are assigned as course administrators via the LMS365 Admin Center > People > Administrators during course creation or editing and are shown on the training home page meaning the option Show On Training Home Page next to the user's name is enabled. The eye icon is blue for the enabled option and grey for the disabled.

Example
