Tagging helps to add more content and then systemize and manage the workflow and can be set while creating or editing a training. In this article we will provide you with an overview of how to search and manage tags: edit or delete an existing tag, view what training the tag is used in.
Where to manage tags
Only course catalog administrators can see such page and edit or delete tags.
Tags are displayed for the current course catalog and are managed from the Settings section in the Administration back-end.
A page opens with a list of all tags of the current course catalog. Tags are ordered alphabetically by name and in the Courses(s) used in column you can see the number of the courses/training plans they are used in.
On the Tags page, you can:
- Filter tags using ordering by Name or by Course(s) used in.
- In the Search field, type in the tags name or a part of it.
View what training the tag is used in
To see courses or training plans that use this tag, select the View (eye icon) option next to the tag in question. Tags not used in any training have no eye icon.
You will see a list of courses and training plans this tag is used in with training type stated in the Type column.
Clicking the training title will redirect you to the training home page.
Editing a tag
To edit the tag, follow the steps below:
- Select the tag.
- Make the necessary changes to the tag name on the Edit Tag panel..
- Save to apply the changes.
Deleting a tag
You can delete only those tags, which are not used on the current course catalog.
To delete a tag, perform the following steps:
- Select the required tag.
- On the opened Edit Tag panel click the Delete Tag button and confirm the deletion. The deletion can't be undone.
For tags in use in any course or training plan the Delete Tag option is disabled.
Any changes in tags will automatically be updated in the course catalog.
