Reinstall LMS365 in a SharePoint site collection site

Due to any reasons your LMS365 app needs to be reinstalled in a certain SharePoint site collection site, this article provides the steps of how to do this. To reinstall LMS365 in a certain SharePoint site collection site, you need to use the account that has Microsoft 365 global admin or SharePoint admin permissions. 

 

For the reinstall the LMS365 app in a certain SharePoint site collection site:

1. From any LMS365 page opened in the SharePoint site collection site (the SharePoint Home page, the Course Catalog page or a training home page), go to Settings in the top right corner and select Site contents

2. On the opened site contents page, find the LMS365 app and select the three vertical dots menu next to it. From the menu, select Remove.

You will be asked to return to the classic SharePoint experience to continue. Select Return to classic SharePoint to proceed. The Site Contents page opens.

3. On the Site Contents page, select the three vertical dots menu on the LMS365 app card and select Remove. Confirm your action with Ok on the confirmation message. It takes several minutes to remove the LMS365 app.

4.  Now you need to add to the SharePoint site collection site once again.  The way how it is done slightly differs for the SharePoint classic and modern experiences.

 

SharePoint classic experience

On the same Site contents page where you removed the LMS365 app from the SharePoint site collection site, select add an app. The Your apps page opens.

SharePoint modern experience

You can select Exit classic experience under the left side menu to get back to the modern view. There, to add the LMS365 app to the SharePoint site collection site, go to the New drop-down menu and select App. The My apps page opens.

5. On the Your apps/My apps page (depending on the SharePoint experience used), select the LMS365 app card to add it.

You will be asked to review the app permissions and data access. Select Trust it to confirm installing of the LMS365 app in the SharePoint site collection site.

After the installation is complete, exit the SharePoint classic experience if using it for installing LMS365 in the site collection site.
