How to manually update the SPFX package for your Tenant

 There are two methods you can use to update your SPFX Package:

A: Manually - Download and Overwrite

B: Automatically - Delete and Deploy using LMS365


A: To update the SPFX package, please follow the steps below:

1. First, you will need to download the new version of the SPFX package. You can do it by following the link;

2. After this is done, please go to the App Catalog site under the Tenant Administrator account (Admin Center – Admin centers in the left-side panel – SharePoint – Sites – Active sites – App Catalog):


3. In the left-side menu, select Apps for SharePoint:

4. Click the Upload button and choose the new package:

5. Enable the option "Make this solution available to all sites in the organization":


After you click the OK button, the SPFX package will be overwritten by the latest version.

6. Make sure the SPFX Package is "Checked In".


Not "Checked Out"



B: Alternatively, you can use the next way to install the latest version of the app:

1. Go to the App Catalog -> remove LMS365 app  

2. Open page in incognito browser session using Global Admin Account
3. Press "Deploy App(s)" button. 


NOTE: If the app catalog is based on the site collection, you need to update the SPFX package on each site collection where you want the LMS accessible. To update SPFX package:

  • navigate to the Site Contents area of the Site Collection you are working on;
  • click the Apps for SharePoint list and upload the new SPFX package:
