Why did the LMS365 notifications stop working and how do I fix it?

If you the LMS365 cloud automated email notification stopped working for all courses and all users, it is likely that the email account specified in the Email Notification Templates of the LMS admin center has expired or reset by another user

In order to address and have the notification work again, if the password expired, you must reset it and then enter the new password in the Exchange Online Settings.
